Sunday, 28th October to Saturday, 3rd November – Don’t miss out!

The city of Mandurah in Western Australia is one of the fastest growing cities covering an area of 173.5km. It is home to more than  82,000 people with an increase of 3,000 new residents per year over the past five years.

Mandurah boasts a typical Mediterranean climate and relaxed coastal lifestyle which provides a unique work/life balance opportunity. Between the Indian Ocean, the expansive waterways of the Peel-Harvey Estuary and the lower reaches of the Serpentine River, this unique location boasts some of the best water based activity facilities in Western Australia.

Mandurah is host to the Australasian Police & Emergency Services Games to be held from Sunday, October, 28th to Saturday, November 3rd.

The affiliated Sports Clubs (18) who were granted funding access at the 2017 NSW PCoS AGM for this event were: Boxing, Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, Clay Target, Cricket, Cycle Sports, Fishing, Golf, Hockey, Netball, Pistol, Soccer, Squash, Surfing, Swimming, Tennis, Ten Pin Bowling, Touch Football, Track & Field, Water Polo.

Those intending to attend as part of the NSW Police Team, I remind you of the following:

1.    Ensure your Membership is current: Both your Sports Club membership and NSW PCoS membership needs to be current. Please head to For most sports clubs, you have until 1st April to join (6 months prior to).

3.    Book flights: For your information, flight packages are also available with Discover Australia – Attention: Beth Harrison. We encourage all team members to book on the Virgin Australia 9.30am flight from Sydney to Perth on Sunday, 28th October. Arrival Perth: 11.45am. Return* included in the $575.00* (cost includes 2 x 32kg baggage per person and is flexible).

This flight allows participants adequate time to travel to Mandurah, which is 65km south of Perth. The Opening Ceremony is 6pm that night. *Multiple options available on the return, which alters cost.

4.    Place in Diary: Blues Night at the Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club from 6pm on Tuesday, 30th October.
