The  NSW Police Distance Running Club is a social club of police and  associates who share a passion for cross country running.  The club  seeks to encourage associates, serving and former police to maintain an  active and healthy lifestyle by creating a friendly, supportive  atmosphere.  The club is affiliated to the NSW Police Council of Sport.

The  membership meet at 3pm on the first Wednesday of every month at McKay  Oval, Centennial Park, Sydney to participate in 10km or 5km handicap  cross country events.  The membership consists of a wide variety of ages  and athletic abilities including walkers.  Participants are charged $4  entry fee for each event and an optional $1 to enter the 10K Lotto  mystery drawer.  Light refreshments and convivial banter are on offer at  the conclusion of each race.

Visitors are welcome to participate for free or sign up for a year’s membership at only $20.   This entitles financial members to monthly prizes and other benefits  throughout the running season including subsidised running uniform and  access to NSW Police Council of Sport travelling grants to contributing  members.
