Since 1984, police service personnel throughout Australia have gathered under the umbrella of the Australasian Police & Emergency Services Games (AP&ES Games). The event is a biennial Games which offers approximately forty plus (40+) sporting events for competitors of all ages and ability.

The AP&ES Games create the opportunity for men and women who share a common bond through law enforcement and emergency service to build camaraderie and promote healthy living.

The NSW Police Force has hosted this event twice; in Sydney, 1986 – 1st Australian and New Zealand Games (ANZ Games) and more recently in Coffs Harbour, 2008, where the event changed it’s name to the Australasian Police & Emergency Services Games (AP&ES Games).

Adelaide 2005 11th ANZ Police & Emergency Services Games

Coffs Harbour 2008 12th Australasian Police & Emergency Services Games (AP&ES Games – name changed)

Hobart 2010 13th Australasian Police & Emergency Services Games

New Zealand 2012 14th Australasian Police & Emergency Services Games

Melbourne 2014 15th Australasian Police & Emergency Services Games
